Parent Promoters Foundation
A Parent - created school
The Parent Promoters Foundation (PPF) was set up in response to an appeal by Lambeth Council for parents to come forward to work with the council to establish a new school in West Norwood. It currently has 346 members who are all local parents or carers who joined together to campaign for the school and who are now looking forward to its opening with real enthusiasm.
Parents have worked hard over the past three years to establish the school. Now the Promoters welcome and support the Headteacher and Governors as they carry out the detailed work of creating a school worthy of local children.
When the school opens the Parent Promoters Foundations will continue to have five Foundation members on the Governing Body. The PPF also intend to establish a Parents' Council to support the ongoing work of the school. Lambeth Council will transfer the interest in the site and buildings to the PPF as long as the school is open, as it is a voluntary controlled school.

We hold open meetings approximately once a term and send out regular mailings to up-date members on the progress of the school. The PPF is always keen to welcome new members - it's free to join.
