Welcome to The Elmgreen School

The Elmgreen School is a unique 11-18 secondary school. It is a non denominational mixed school which opened to its first cohort of year 7 students in September 2007. The school is non selective and provides a creative and innovative curriculum, encouraging the highest standards of teaching and learning within an ethos of mutual respect, harmony and achievement.
As the first Parent Promoted school in the UK, The Elmgreen School pays special attention to working closely with families and the local community, ensuring every student benefits from a challenging and inspirational curriculum and is cared for and developed within a secure and supportive environment.
By 2013 the school, which is a specialist humanities college, will have 900 students of age 11-16 and will have a 200 place sixth form.
Latest News: End of Term Arrangements—Friday 17 JulyFriday 17 July will be a non uniform day. Students will be asked to make a voluntary contribution of 50p to charity. Students will be dismissed at 12.10 pm ( lunch will be provided for FSM students in restaurant)
